PHYSIOTHERAPY EXERCISE

Recommended Exercise - Getting on and off 2 Pillow Sideways-Mild Intensity

Position : Stand

Stand next to 2 pillows stacked on top of one another, toes pointing forward.

Form & Movement

Maintain chin tuck, blades set and core set. Breathe out, place one foot on the pillows by the side followed by another. Breathe in, lower the first foot back to the starting position followed by the second. Repeat. Gradually increase the speed.

Position : Sit

Sit on the gym ball, arms elevate to 90 degrees by the side and hips-knees angle is 90-90 degrees.

Form & Movement

Maintain chin tuck, blades set and core set. Breathe out, straighten one knee forward. Breathe in, bend the knee to starting position. Repeat by alternating the legs.

Recommended Exercise - Knee Straigthening Initial Range Isomteric

Position : Sit

Sit with feet on the floor, straighten one knee to 30 degrees, place the foot of the other leg on the straighten leg just above the ankle, arms by the side.

Form & Movement

Maintain chin tuck, blades set and core set. Breathe out, further straighten the knee against the resistance of another leg. Hold. Breathe in, release the resistance. Repeat.

Recommended Exercise - Wall Squat

Position : Stand

Stand with feet hip-width apart against the wall, rest the back on the wall, arms crossed over chest.

Form & Movement

Maintain chin tuck, blades set and core set. Breathe out, bend the knees and lower down towards the floor such as sitting on a chair, back in contact with the wall. Breathe in, release the push, squeeze the buttocks and stand up to starting position. Repeat.
