Shoulder

Shoulder

The shoulder joint is formed by the arm bone humerus and the glenoid fossa of the scapula. The size of the glenoid is only one third as compared to the size of the humeral head. This helps the shoulder to have a wide range of movements, although its stability is relatively low. The shoulder joint is supported by the labrum, muscles and ligaments to enhance stability. The overall functioning of the shoulder depends on the strength of the muscles surrounding it. Repeated arm swings and twists can strain the rotator cuff muscles and cause shoulder joint degeneration, instability and dislocation. A good shoulder support could play an important role in the rehabilitation of shoulder injuries.

Vissco shoulder supports are scientifically designed to provide stability and support to the shoulder joint, helping the patient enjoy a smooth rehabilitation.
