Exercise - Side Plank with Leg Lift




Do not arch/round the back or twist the leg or lean forward or backward.

Position : Side-lying
Lie on one side with elbow under the shoulder and other hand on the waist, knees straight, hips in line with the trunk, squeeze the buttocks and lift the hips and knees off the floor such that neck, shoulder, trunk, hips, knees and feet are in one line.


Form & Movement
Maintain chin tuck blades set and core set. Breathe out, holding the side-plank position lift the top leg towards the ceiling such that toes pointing forward. Breathe in, lower the leg back to starting position. Repeat.
