Exercise - Lower Back Reach using Cane




Do not round or shrug the shoulders or arch the back or move the trunk.


Position : Stand
Stand with feet hip width-apart and arms by the side holding either ends of the cane behind the hips such that palm facing away from the body.


Form & Movement
Maintain chin tuck,blades set and core set. Breathe out, move the cane up towards the upper back by bending the elbow. Breathe in, lower the cane back to starting position by straightening the elbow. Repeat.
