Exercise - Upper Back Reach using Cane




Do not shrug/round the shoulders or arch the back

Model: Diya


Position : Stand
Stand with feet hip-width apart, hold one end of the cane and place it vertically behind the back such that that hand is near the lower back/buttocks, hold the other end with the affected arm towards the head.


Form & Movement
Maintain chin tuck, blades set and core set. Breathe out, pull the cane down with the hand behind the lower back such that the affected hand slide towards the neck and back. Breathe in, slide back up to starting position. Repeat.
