Exercise - Lying Sword-In




Do not arch back, twist the trunk or keep the elbow straight/bend the elbow throughout the motion.

Position : Supine
Lie on the back with feet on the floor and knees bend, arm elevated overhead on the opposite side with elbow bend and thumb facing towards the floor.


Form & Movement
Maintain chin tuck, blades set and core set. Breathe out, lower the arm diagonally to the same side of the hip, straightening the elbow and rotating the arm such that thumb pointing towards the floor. Breathe in, elevate the arm diagonally to staring position by bending the elbow and rotating the arm. Repeat.
